Terms of service

Last updated: April 2026

These Terms ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Exit Pilot AIT™ (the "Service") operated at sellmycompany.com. By creating an account or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 and authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your company. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

2. Plans, payments, and refunds

  • Pricing for Foundation, Launch, Pursuit, and Enterprise tiers is shown on our pricing page and may change for new orders.
  • One-time fees grant you the deliverables described for that tier and a fixed annual evaluation-report quota where applicable.
  • All payments are processed by our payment provider. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase if the deliverables have not been generated.
  • Every dollar paid is credited toward your next tier upgrade as described in your account.

3. Your data; license to operate

You retain ownership of the business information you submit. You grant Exit Pilot a worldwide, non-exclusive license to process that information solely to deliver the Service to you, to generate the artifacts you request, and to produce de-identified, aggregated benchmarks.

4. Generated artifacts

Reports, CIMs, teasers, and other AI-assisted artifacts are produced from the inputs you provide and from publicly available data. They are delivered for your use in evaluating, marketing, or selling your business. You are responsible for reviewing them for accuracy before sharing externally.

5. Not professional advice

Exit Pilot is software, not a licensed broker, attorney, accountant, or appraiser. Outputs are decision-support, not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Valuation ranges are estimates based on the data you provide and may differ from prices a real buyer offers.

6. NDA flow

Our NDA-gated buyer flow records the signer's name, email, IP, and timestamp. You are responsible for choosing whom to invite and for the legal sufficiency of the NDA template for your jurisdiction.

7. Acceptable use

  • No reverse engineering or scraping of the Service.
  • No upload of data you do not have the right to share (e.g., another company's confidential financials).
  • No use of the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, prompts, branding, and documentation, is owned by Exit Pilot and its licensors. We retain all rights not expressly granted to you.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to other users. After termination, we retain records as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers; limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Exit Pilot's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice.
